We all know that the generation of today is the Internet GenerationGilas - Gearing up Internet Literacy and Access for Students and we can’t deny the fact that not all of our fellow Filipino youth has an access on internet and that’s why this project is created. You may ask what is GILAS? It is the acronym for a multi sectoral initiative that aims to provide internet access for students and basic internet literacy programs in all the 5,433 public secondary schools in the Philippines . The mission is led by a consortium of private corporations and civic organizations in coordination and cooperation with the Department of Education. This project aims that all senior high school students in the country’s public schools may provided a quality computer and internet literacy and same also to the lower years.
